How we know your system is not a bioCycle™ system
Why the treatment system on www.mybiocycle.com is not a genuine bioCycle™ System

“We contacted the main distributor who confirmed that there was no end user documentation for this particular biocycle system.”
Biocycle™ do not have any distributors and are the only supplier of the bioCycle™ system in Ireland. Every biocycle system comes with a owners manual.
“Our biocycle tank needs to be emptied or desludged regularly”
The bioCycle™ system has the longest deluging interval of any domestic system in Ireland approx 7-10 years.
“The following day we received a call from one of her colleagues at the Irish Agrement Board. He explained that our biocycle system was not listed in the database because the certification had been withdrawn in January 2009. He could not tell me why. Nor could he provide a copy of the certificate and associated conditions.”
This statement is not true, the bioCycle Agrement Certificate can be found on the National Standards Authority of Irelands website www.nsai.ie and was never withdrawn.
“When we discovered a report of a court case in which the main distributor of our biocycle system had been prosecuted for failing to supply an alarm as required by the conditions of the Irish Agrement Board Certification”
Biocycle ltd. has never been prosecuted for failing to supply an alarm. Every bioCycle™ system is installed with an alarm as standard.
“We phoned the maintenance company who said that the air blower motor had probably burnt out due to continous switching with the rising water levels in the biocycle tank.“
Biocycle™ do not have any service agents, we service and maintain the systems ourselves.
“We discussed whether the builder had installed the correct system the right way.”
bioCycle™ systems are only installed by bioCycle Ltd.
“With hindsight we believe that the builder could have done more at the time of installation to set up a more effective wastewater treatment system. An anti backflow valve fitted to the effluent outlet would have prevented groundwater flowing back into the biocycle tank.”
All bioCycle™ systems come with a Non return value to stop this happening.
“The consulting engineer recommended a complete replacement wastewater treatment system. With the effluent being pumped out through two inch pipes to a raised polishing filter/percolation area”
All bioCycle systems require a pump. This is only way a bioCycle system can discharge to the percolation area.
